Revd Simon was born in Hong Kong. He followed his parents to participate in worship, Sunday school, and youth fellowship at the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui ( “Sheng Kung Hui” means “Anglican”) Holy Trinity Church. In 2010, he was admitted to Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Ming Hua Theological College. In 2013, he was ordained as a deacon. In 2014, he was ordained as a priest. From 2013 to 2014, he served as the priest-in-charge of the Kei Lok Church and the curate of St. Barnabas Church. From 2015 to 2022, he served as the vicar of the Church of St. John the Baptist. In June 2022, he moved to Brisbane with his wife Greece and two daughters Janna and Jacey. In March 2023, he began to work as a part-time assistant priest in St. Barnabas Church in this parish, conducting Sunday service in Cantonese, Chinese ministry and pastoral counseling work. In December 2025, he began to work as a Locum.

Before entering the seminary, Revd Simon worked as a social worker and counselor for nearly ten years. After serving as a priest, in addition to pastoring, he continued his studies in Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE), and obtained the qualification of Level 1 CPE Supervisor (CPSupI) in Hong Kong Pastoral Care and Counseling Association, to train people who are determined to engage in chaplaincy ministry.
Revd Simon enjoys reading, cooking, football, painting, and writing.
